The origin of the METTA logo goes back to Dr. Brown's residency in the Wangjing Hospital in Beijing. While studying at the hospital, Dr. Brown was given this etched symbol carved in marble indicating her legal mark. Instead of our conventional signatures, every doctor in hospitals in China are given their own 'chop' (or seal) to validate documents and reports. Since no two chops are alike, this is a symbol personalized for Dr. Brown.
