Meet the Doctor
In her practice, Dr.
Yvonne Brown relies on the accumulation of knowledge and experience
she has acquired through her formal education, apprenticeships and work
internships. She has received undergraduate degrees from the University of
Windsor and American Institute of Massage Therapy, certifications from the
Canadian Institute of Iridology, Dominion Herbal College and Beijing Acupuncture
and Herbal Medicine Institute, and her Doctorate from the Southern College of
Naturopathy. In addition to her formal education, Dr. Brown has studied under
Chinese QiGong Masters in Los Angeles and Toronto, as well as apprenticed with
Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors in Ontario and Michigan. Dr. Brown has
furthered her skills by completing two residencies at the Wangjing Hospital in
Beijing, China in 2001 and 2002, with continued studies in Tibet at the
Traditional Tibetan Medicine Hospital.
